I am a Doctoral Student in the East-West Psychology program at the California Institute of Integral Studies, where I study LGBTQI migration, spiritual, somatic, and depth psychology. My dissertation proposal is "The Embodied Psyche: A Micro-phenomenological Study of Intersex and Queer Asylum Seekers and Refugees in the USA." The research approach is based on qualitative research methods (in-depth interviews, and somatic techniques).
As a co-author, I have published a book chapter on Migrating Russian Speaking LGBTIQ+ Activists (2020). Also, I am a Program Assistant in the Integral Psychology program at the California Institute of Integral Studies (San Francisco, CA).
I earned my Master of Science in Nonprofit Management at The New School (New York, NY) and my Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Kemerovo State University in Russia. And I have Qualitative Research Methods, Human Rights, Narrative Therapy, and Queer Psychoanalysis certificates.
